Undergraduate Mentoring Program
Attending scientific meetings as an undergraduate can be overwhelming. The Undergraduate Mentoring Program (UMP) pairs a subset of undergraduates with more seasoned attendees for one-on-one mentoring throughout the meeting. Applications are now closed for Fall Meeting 2017. The deadline to apply was 14 November 2017.
Career and Research Advice Mentorship sessions
Introduced during the 2016 Fall Meeting, Career and Research Advice Mentorship (CRAM) sessions give students, postdocs, and other early-career scientists the opportunity to gain valuable advice. Mentees sign up for 20-minute sessions with a CRAM mentor from a range of disciplines and career stages. Mentor applications for CRAM are now closed for Fall Meeting 2017. Applications are now closed for Fall Meeting 2017. The deadline to apply was 31 October 2017. Mentee sign-ups will begin in mid to late-November for Fall Meeting 2017.
Sharing Science Mentoring Program
Sharing Science helps connect graduate students with established scientists who are engaged in sharing their science with public audiences. This supports students who are beginning their scientific careers and hoping to find support for engaging in science communication and outreach. The deadline to apply is 31 October 2017.
