Undergraduate Mentoring Program
Attending scientific meetings as an undergraduate can be overwhelming. The Undergraduate Mentoring Program (UMP) pairs a subset of undergraduates with more seasoned attendees for one-on-one mentoring throughout the meeting. Applications for mentors and mentees will open in August for Fall Meeting 2017.
Career and Research Advice Mentorship sessions
Introduced during the 2016 Fall Meeting, Career and Research Advice Mentorship (CRAM) sessions give students, post docs, and other early-career scientists the opportunity to gain valuable advice. Mentees sign up for 20-minute sessions with a CRAM mentor from a range of disciplines and career stages. Mentor and mentee sign-ups will begin in early November for Fall Meeting 2017.
Sharing Science Mentoring Program
Sharing Science helps connect graduate students with established scientists who are engaged in sharing their science with public audiences. This supports students who are beginning their scientific careers and hoping to find support for engaging in science communication and outreach. Applications for Sharing Science mentors will open in early October for Fall Meeting 2017.
