International Buddy Program
Are you fluent in multiple languages? Would you like to help first-time, international attendees better plan and make the most out of their first Fall Meeting experience? If “yes”, then you may be a great international buddy volunteer. Learn more about this exciting new program.

Open Mic Night
Want to share your science-themed performance? We welcome songs, poetry, stories, and jokes. The event will be held at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, 15 December at Jillian’s. Sign up to perform your (SHORT) piece.

Networking Reception for Early Career Female Scientists and Students
Network with you peers at this event made especially for early career female scientists and students. Created in partnership with the Association for Women Geoscientists (AWG) and the Earth Science Women’s Network (ESWN), this reception will be hosted by Executive Director/CEO of AGU Chris McEntee, AGU President Margaret Leinen, and AGU President-Elect Eric Davidson.

Honors Banquet
Recognize and celebrate the achievements of your peers. Directly following the Honors Ceremony, the Honors Banquet will offer a night of elegance and entertainment as we continue to celebrate the 2015 AGU Union Fellows, Medals, Awards, and Prize recipients. A full course dinner will be served. A limited number of tickets are available for students at the discounted rate of $35.00 USD.
