Public Information Officers can upload press releases – along with accompanying images, videos, audio files and external links – about research presented at the 2014 AGU Fall Meeting to the Virtual Press Room. To access the Uploader, PIOs of scientific societies, educational institutions, government agencies and non-profit Earth and space science research organizations whose primary role focuses on communicating science with the press or public must first register through the form below.
Public information or press officers who are not already registered to attend the Fall Meeting as press must present a business card or webpage clearly showing job position, a letter from a supervisor describing job duties or a recent sample of relevant material distributed to the press, such as a news release to demonstrate eligibility.
After submitting the registration form, PIOs will receive an email with a log in username and password information. Please allow two business days for AGU staff to process registrations. If you already have a username, log in below to access the document Uploader. Only registered Public Information Officers will be allowed to upload press releases and related materials.
