Discounted registration rates are available to attendees from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income (Tier1) and lower-middle income (Tier 2) economies.  These income classifications are updated each year on 1 July.  Please refer to the World Bank’s website for information on their classification system and for the latest list of Tier 1 and 2 countries.

* Note: Attendees must currently reside in the low-income or lower-middle income country in order to be eligible to receive the registration rate.

Guest Policy

By 8 November registered attendees may purchase guest passes at $35 each.  After 8 November guest passes are $50.  A guest is a spouse, friend, or adult child (18 years old and older) who is not working in a geophysical sciences-related occupation or field.  A colleague or associate working in a related geophysical sciences field or studying geophysics in school may not be registered and attend as a guest.  Registered guests may not attend the scientific sessions; however, they may visit the Exhibit Hall, and attend the Ice Breaker, Honors Ceremony, and all keynote lectures.  Guests may also purchase tickets to social events, including the Honors Banquet, at the advertised rates.
