To help you report on newsworthy scientific findings presented at the meeting, AGU will provide a press room in which members of the news media, as well as communications officers of scientific organizations, can work and mingle.

In the press room — and in an online Virtual Press Room on this site — AGU will make available copies of press releases about developments in Earth and space science and other news that will be coming out of the meeting. AGU will also offer a series of press conferences about newsworthy scientific advances that will be presented at the meeting.

Quiet Rooms: Registered members of the press can reserve one of two available Quiet Rooms during the meeting to conduct interviews. The rooms can be reserved through the online registration form. Reservations are given in 30-minute increments and are on a first-come, first-served basis. View the Quiet Rooms schedule to search for available times.

Virtual Options: Learn more about participating in the Fall Meeting remotely with through the Fall Meeting Virtual Options. Virtual options include viewing of ePosters, live streams and recordings of select lectures and oral sessions, and interaction with remote poster presenters. (Note: Content will be updated closer to the start of the Fall Meeting).

Events Calendar: In addition to the Scientific Program, there are many social gatherings, workshops and public events at the Fall Meeting. Search the Events Calendar for a full list of these events, or click here for a list of events tagged for the press.
