Come listen as young scientists aspiring to be the next Jane Goodall or Neil deGrasse Tyson share their passion for science in three minutes or less at ‘FameLab: Exploring Earth & Beyond.’ This science take on “American Idol” has 10 performers giving PowerPoint-free talks meant to engage all audiences. AGU is hosting the inaugural event of the 2013 ‘FameLab: Exploring Earth & Beyond’ competition on Friday, 7 December from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis Hotel, 4^th and Mission Streets, Salons 1-4. This public event is open to all.
