1 November was the deadline to qualify for the discounted registration rates.  The deadline to renew or join AGU for 2011 and be eligible to receive the member registration rate was 30 September.

Registration Rates for Attendees from Tier 1 and 2 Countries

Discounted registration rates are available to attendees from countries classified by the World Bank as low-income and lower-middle income economies.  These income classifications are updated each 1 July.  Please refer to the World Bank’s website for information on their classification system and for the latest list of Tier 1 and 2 countries.

Guest Policy

Registered attendees may purchase Guest Passes at $25 each.  A guest is a spouse, friend, or adult child (18 years old and older) who is not working in a geophysical science related occupation or field.  A colleague or associate working in a related geophysical sciences field or studying geophysics in school may not be registered and attend as a guest.  Registered guests may not attend the scientific sessions, however, they may go to the Exhibit Hall and attend and purchase tickets to social events at the advertised rates.

Cancellation Policy

Written notification of registration cancellations must be e-mailed to agu@experient-inc.com. Registration cancellations received by 1 November 2011 will receive a complete refund. Cancellations received between 2 November 2011 and 11 November 2011 will have a $30 processing fee deducted from their refund. No refunds will be issued for registrations or ticketed events cancelled after 11 November 2011.
